Frances McGinnity
Dr. Frances McGinnity is joint co-coordinator of Equality and Integration Research at the Economic and Social Research Institute. She is a Senior Research Officer there and is Adjunct Associate Professor of Sociology at Trinity College Dublin. Her current research focuses on equality, work-life balance, childcare and migrant integration. She has published on these themes about Ireland and from a comparative perspective, and edited a journal special issue on work-family conflict. She led the first large-scale survey of adult migrants in Ireland in 2005 and the first Irish field experiment on discrimination in 2008. She has been principal investigator of the Annual Integration Monitor since it started in 2010.
